ELENA OXMAN // writer, director
Elena Oxman is the co-founder of the documentary production company American Beat. She received her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012 and has published parts of her dissertation on French film theory and criticism.
GIACOMO DIGRIGOLI // producer
A tech valley veteran with 15 years of experience in SF and LA including early roles at PayPal, Yammer and One Kings Lane, Giacomo is thrilled to be producing his first short.
TIJANA PETROVIĆ // cinematographer
Tijana is a filmmaker from Belgrade, Serbia. Her films have screened at festivals internationally including True/False, Ann Arbor, Anthology Film Archives and Dok Leipzig among others. Tijana was a participant of the NY Foundation for the Arts Immigrant Artist Project 2010. Her work has received support from various institutions and grants including The Enersen Foundation, University Film and Video Association, RI Council for the Humanities among others. She is a graduate of the Documentary Film and Video MFA program at Stanford University and the Documentary certificate program at The New School in NY. Tijana is based in San Francisco and teaches filmmaking at the Art Institute of California.
D'LO // jessie
D'Lo is a queer/transgender Tamil-Sri Lankan-American actor/writer/comedian. D'Lo is also the creator of the "Coming Out, Coming Home" writing workshop series which have taken place with South Asian and/or Immigrant Queer organizations nationally. He is also an artistic core member of Teada Productions and on the board of Brown Boi Project. The documentary by Crescent Diamond based on D'Lo's life/work, called Performing Girl, recently won the best short documentary award at Outfest 2014. He also appears in the new HBO series LOOKING as Taj, and Mikki del Monico's film ALTO.
RINABETH APOSTOL // eva
Rinabeth has spent the last several years working on several camera projects, including several national commercials. She also had the pleasure of playing high school senior Beth in the feature film Quitters directed by Noa Pritzker. Rinabeth was recently named host of the new web series Eater in the Front, Liquor in the Back, featuring popular bars and eateries in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and beyond. Rinabeth continues to teach dance classes and workshops bi-coastally and recently completed choreography for youth productions of The Wizard of Oz, The Music Man, and Cabaret.

ANA LANDIS VELAZQUEZ // art direction
Ana Landis Velazquez is an artist living in the Bay Area. Her current bodies of visual art transform film stills from legendary pieces of cinema into ritualistic scenes, invoking her own cultural and spiritual background in the Caribbean. Ana previously spent over a decade living in New York City, Paris, and Norther Italy where she cultivated her love of art, film and delicious dishes. Ana has a Masters in Art Education from the City College of New York, where she nurtured her work in video, performance art, and murals.
